Martha Rincón. Filóloga… Ya, no tienes que decirlo. Si has escuchado (o leído) mi acento, no sabes de dónde soy. Mexicana por nacimiento, madrileña por adopción, escocesa por emigración. Estudiante profesional y escritora ocasional. Profesora y traductora cuando la cartera muestra serios signos de desnutrición.

Martha Rincón. To be or not to be Spanish or Mexican, Mexican or Spanish? That is THE QUESTION. I don’t think it really matters, but if you want to know, I’m a mix of both and I live in Scotland. I studied Italian Philology then English Philology, then I went on studying, falling into the neverending loop. I have to admit: I love it! Believe or not, I’m pretty much a bookworm (a lovely one though. My secret hope is to become one day a butterfly). Life for me is about writing… I do some teaching and translating, whenever my purse looks at me with sad eyes asking for food.
